Our Oath – “Plant twice the trees we consume”

We are the first company to come up with this unique CSR initiative.

What is a pledge? It’s a promise or agreement, to do or not to do something. Some pledges become legally binding, but for us at Magnon, it is simply an aspiration to improve our behavior. We are committed to minimizing the impact of our activities on the environment by conserving natural resources, reducing waste and emissions and preventing environmental degradation.

We are aware of the global issue of degradation of tropical forests, uncontrolled cutting of trees to meet the needs and wants of ever growing popular country which is leading to environmental degradation. 

To take affirmative action on the above, we at Magnon have taken an oath to “Plant twice the trees we consume”.

We have partnered with Grow-Tree affiliated with UNEP, Plant For The Planet, WWF to help us plant twice the trees our customer have consumed to beautifying their homes. With this our customers can offset the carbon footprint created by the consumption of wood for their interior decoration.

Grow Trees make it possible for individuals and companies worldwide to plant trees on lands owned or managed by governments or organizations working for the benefit of society at large. This also creates low-skill jobs. To get the best designs and to reduce the harm to the nature.  In addition, trees provide benefits to current and future generations and have a direct impact on carbon reduction, restoring forests, improving wildlife habitats, and upgrading water catchment areas and offer flowers, fruit fodder and fuel for local communities and all living creatures.

Green Growth Pledges are set of actions – from easy prime steps to vast changes – that will reduce your environment sustainability and help to grow at the same time. A Green initiative pledge is a message to the customers and wider business community that we are taking action to make a clean and Eco-friendly company.

Natural Environment is place where it consist of Living and non- living thing, environment consist of human beings, animals, trees, birds etc. Today’s environment is being destroyed and used in vast way, which may affect the sustainability of the future generation. Environment is something you are familiar with. It’s everything that makes our surroundings and affects our ability to live on earth.

As part of Interior designing we are required to cut woods for furniture which is a part of distracting the environment but we plan to plant two when one tree is cut. We try to minimize the wastage of the wood being used and try to use Eco-material to make environment clean. We also try to provide motivation to our employer to refuse simple use of plastics. We are aware of the global issue of degradation of forest and uncontrolled cutting of trees to meet the needs and desires of a growing population which is leading to environmental degradation.

We have partnered ourselves in NGO’s such as Grow-Tree affiliated with UNEP, Plant for the Planet, WWF to plant double to what we have consumed to beautifying their homes and offices.

As we consider the environmental issue we always try to maintain green initiative actions in designing most of our works. We try to improve by providing the best interior designing to the customers with low wastage in the use of the environmental raw materials and also try to reduce the materials which are hazard to the environment.
